The first CRES Day of the new academic year! There were sixteen of us, including students, tutors, steering group members, and a number of external people. We were very pleased to welcome Andy and Carol Kingston-Smith, co-founders of the jusTice initiative to be our speakers. New External Examiner

We are pleased to announce that Dr Sarah Dunlop has agreed to become the next external examiner for CRES. Sarah is a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion. Currently working on a project to study the social engagement of mega churches in London, Sarah is a practical theologian who specialises in empirical research to study contemporary ecclesiology. At the end of each CRES year in September we have the annual residential at Ripon College Cuddesdon nr. Oxford.
