Our next CRES in-person day (open to all) is on Saturday 16th November 2024 at Ripon College Cuddesdon (RCC) near Oxford. Our main speaker is Jo Herbert-James (Head of Engagement at A Rocha UK). Jo has a particular interest in ethical consumption. So this day will be of particular interest to those taking the new CRES module, Living Sustainably, but also to all those of us wanting to live more lightly on the planet. We will also have a book launch for the new Grove Booklet “The Ethics of Environmental Management”, written by Martin and Margot Hodson. If Jo Herbert-James is mostly looking at sustainability from the perspective of personal consumption and practical action, the Hodsons’ new booklet primarily takes a global perspective and considers whether stewardship is still a useful ethic to drive action.
