At our September 2026 residential, we wished a happy retirement to Lynda McKeown, our very long-term, faithful CRES administrator. The McKeown family have been with JRI since its inception in the late 1990’s. Lynda’s husband, John, did a lot to establish the JRI and CRES websites. Lynda came in gradually to help with JRI administration, but it was in 2014 that she became the CRES administrator at the time she and John moved to Cornwall. Things were not exactly well-organised when she took over, but Lynda gradually established systems to ensure the smooth running of CRES. The students and tutors all came to appreciate Lynda’s quiet but efficient way of keeping things under control.
We all wish Lynda a very happy retirement. But we expect she will be back, and we will look forward to seeing her at CRES and JRI events in the future.
