Transformation Volume 16, Number 3
These are the papers that were presented at a consultation, “A Christian Approach to the Environment”, organised by the John Ray Initiative on 20th February 1999. The papers were then published in Transformation, a publication produced by the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (OCMS) in July 1999. Later, the papers were republished by the John Ray Initiative in a book form edited by Dr. Bob Carling. Sadly, we are now running out of books! We are therefore very grateful to OCMS for permission to reproduce the original Transformation volume for use by CRES students and staff. We are aware that some of the science in this volume is now very dated, but the theological papers still give a very good basis for biblical environmental theology.
