Having spent many years considering how mine and my families lives impact on God’s precious earth I was delighted to happen upon the CRES course. I longed to gather some Biblical knowledge alongside what I already knew about caring for the planet. It has been a long time since school but I was encouraged to be accepted to study. My local church were keen to support me and for me to share my knowledge with them. I loved the accessibility of the course, the first module was a fantastic introduction and settled me into study. It encouraged me to read much more widely than I would have ever discovered on my own and challenged me greatly! I was able to choose modules that focussed on the local environment, mission and church all of which I was excited to learn more about. Martin was a great encouragement to me and the days at Cuddesdon in person and on Zoom were inspiring and expanded my horizons. The courses flexibility has been fantastic for me as a mum and especially during the pandemic, has meant that although unable to meet in person we have still been able to be together and learn virtually! I have enjoyed opportunities to share some of what I have learnt with members of my church but am looking forward to the opportunity to share this more widely soon.
